SYNOPSYS

The book "Filosofi Kopi" by Dee Lestari is a best seller novel of its time This novel tells short stories but, the main character in the novel tells Ben and Jodi they are friends who run a business in a coffee shop .

Ben, who is known as a reliable barista because he is willing to learn enough to be in various countries while Jodi helps the band focus on managing the shop, both run a business together, these two friends have the same determination.

Their coffee shop is increasingly in demand and very famous, especially with its unique name that attracts many customers to try Ben's coffee. Until one day a businessman came to challenge Ben to mix the best coffee ever. 

Ben agreed to this challenge, from then on Ben struggled hard to make coffee blends to the point that he rarely slept at night so that a coffee named Ben perfecto emerged which made him win the challenge with the businessman.

However, one day a simple-looking gentleman came and tried the coffee that Ben said was the most perfect. But strangely, the man did not give any response after drinking the coffee unlike other visitors. This made Ben surprised and asked the man irritably.

Ben, who was always confident in the taste of his coffee, was broken by the customer who stated that his coffee tasted quite good. The customer stated that there are better coffees in Central Java.

 This shook Ben to find where the coffee perfection was so that he was willing to walk all the way from Jakarta to Central Java just to find Tiwus coffee. His curiosity drove him to prove whether what the customer said was true and to understand the secret behind Tiwus coffee.

Other short stories that are just as fascinating as the tale of "Filosofi Kopi" are included. Examples are Rico de Coro, which explores themes of spirituality and the quest for identity, and the story of Space, which highlights the value of relational pauses.
