SYNOPSYS
This novel tells the story of a child named Rey Rey who as a child lived in an orphanage with various unique stories and faced the harshness of life as a child. He has a very difficult life journey when other children live a peaceful life Ray on the contrary he is known to be naughty, always playing gambling and even laundering orphanage money.
So when he left that world he began to change and look for work, and he is still looking for the meaning of his life.The life he achieved after leaving the Orphanage was not a mosquito net he went through various problems and challenges that were very complex starting from when he tried to become a thug, until he became a successful and rich ruler.
The problems he faced at the Orphanage were nothing compared to After he left the Orphanage he lived a real life with him ups and downs in facing various challenges in his life.
But behind the journey of his life There are five big questions in life related to his life starting from him trying hard, find a job, falling into a dark world and after that he became trying various jobs he became a wealthy figure But he felt empty with his wealth.
material wealth for Ray became an empty thing and there was only emptiness because he continued to look for answers in his life which was full of sad stories. the culmination of it all when he in his old age fell ill and lay in the hospital before his death suddenly he was visited by a mysterious old figure and he asked Ray questions which of course the question revived old memories and it made Ray's mind open.
In fact the message we can learn from Rai's story is how a life journey is not very easy and not everyone gets an easy life journey Rai's life journey illustrates that everyone has to fall first and face various problems first and fail first to achieve a success and the past is something that is most valuable in our lives because we are present because of our past The past is a picture for us so that how the future.
- Advantages of the book
Tere Liye's novel has advantages in which there is inspiration for life that can motivate and reflect and tell the journey of spirituality on the other hand this novel is also very easy to understand and of course Tere Liye can invite readers to explore how Ray's figure in this story is. And it also has a very strong moral message.
- Disadvantage of the book
The story is very long and there are also several narratives and dialogs that may occur repeatedly, making it boring.and many also think that the novel has an ending that is too young so it doesn't really arouse curiosity.
